Node.js Cron Monitoring

Quick Setup

Create a free CronHook check, copy your ping URL, and add it to your Node.js / node-cron setup:

const cron = require('node-cron');
const https = require('https');

cron.schedule('*/5 * * * *', () => {
  // Your task
  https.get('https://cronhook.site/ping/YOUR_CHECK_ID');
});

How It Works

1. Create a check — Give it a name, set the expected period (e.g. 5 minutes).
2. Add the ping — Add the curl request (or HTTP call) at the end of your task.
3. Get alerted — If the ping doesn't arrive on time, CronHook alerts you via Email, Slack, or Discord.
